Charlie Daniels Park adds ballfields, a dog park and walking paths just up the road. Worth knowing before you commit: the I-40 East corridor backs up during morning rush, so visit at 7:30 a.m. on a weekday if the commute matters to you.

Schools and value

Jackson Hills is served by Wilson County Schools, one of the reasons the neighborhood draws relocating families from out of state. Mount Juliet High School on Golden Bear Gateway is close enough that some residents walk. Verify zoning for any specific address with the Wilson County Board of Education, since the county's growth keeps rezoning on the table.
